Puja is all about beauty, class and perfection. The Goddess herself is adorned with the best and so the devotees too don't wish to slag behind. Each and every person wants to dress to perfection and look their best on these four days . The choices are in excess and shoppers definitely get confused, but don't you worry people, as we decode wants 'in' this Puja and help you choose the best. Traditional or western, whatever it is, color is in. This season is all about colour, right from neon green to yellow, electric blue to psychic red, all are just a must have in one's closet. In traditional, anarkalis and Zari silk woven sarees are raising the mercury. Even in mekhala-chaddars the mix and match of contrasting combinations is the show stealer. One can also opt for a simple saree but the blouse should be really heavy and detailed. Maybe a prince collar with pearl detailing or even a halter neck is perfect. For those who love dresses like me, asymmetric and skater dresses are the choices this season. Even pencil skirts are quite the lookers. People who love their trousers too much even have options, Boot-cut jeans, coloured denims and cotton pants are hot this Puja. Clubbed along with a sexy top or a sheer- coloured shirt you will be the star. As for accessories anything in metal is good, it can be Gold or Silver, Bronze or Platinum. The designs can be Indian to quirky and funky. For the other sex, checks and stripes are the best choices if you love your formals. Quirky t-shirts teamed with denims and fun shoes are quite charming, teamed with the geek specs for the cute nerd look. And of course kurta and pyajama for the traditional ones. Cotton kurta either in a self- colour or in stripes are very in. These are few tips from my end but we have a vivacious designer Ms. Payal Oshan Goswami who answer's few question about what's hot this Puja.

Q. What according to you are the must-have's this puja?
Payal : Puja is essentially a religious celebration . I will advocate Indian traditional wear for the festival. Walk into puja with a sexy saree or a killer anarkali. Even straight fit churidars are awesome.

Q. What is the in colors this season?
Payal :  You can shine even when the sun is shining bright. Don't get me wrong . I am talking about neon colours ruling the fashion chart from apparels, footwear, accessories, hair extensions etc. give a neon twist this season like neon yellow which is quickly becoming one of favorite, neon orange ,neon and red too. I love red on its own but I also love red paired with blue.

Q. The fabrics that you want people to flaunt more on the days of puja are?
Payal : According to me one should lookout for fabrics that will not only keep you cool but is comfortable also. One can go for coloured cotton, georgette, chiffon, soft net etc.

Q.Traditional, western or a combination of both- what's your take for this festive season?
Payal :  On a personal front, traditional is what I would opt for, but if a person loves western outfits then they can just add some traditional elements to it such as a traditional neck piece or earrings. Because its good to go traditional at times.

Q. What are the accessories that one should go for, to make their outfit even more fabulous?
Payal :  Bags, necklaces, shinny earrings, bangels, watch, hair clips are hot this season. But they should enhance the outfit and not make it too jazzy.

I believe one has got enough of tips to make the right choices, and so happy shopping people. Choose wise so that you don't regret and make sure its comfortable as you all are fashionistas. And as I always say Once a Fashionista always a Fashionista!
